For more than 20 years the Silesia Wholesale Flower Market has been a central place of development and trade exchange in flower and gardening sector on area of Southern Poland. A scope of its operation does not limit only to Polandbut more and more clients arrive from Czech Republic and Slovakia.The Market occupies more than 50,000 m2,while on this area more than 800 traders operate and they specialize themselves in wholesale trade. At the beginning of 2006, the Flower Hall, of area more than 5,000 m2, was opened where interior temperature is suitably maintained to provide goods be of good quality.
Visitors of the Market can purchase cut flowers in wholesale, potted flowers, trees and fruit bushes, ornamental shrubs, additives to flowers of different kinds and floral materials, candles and flames and ornamental articles.
The Silesian Centre of Floral Education „Synergia” Company operates at the Silesia Wholesale Flower Market and it organizes trainings and shows, managed by the best florists. Within its activity the Centre organizes floral competitions for children, which create a form of education of future florists. Trainings help clients of the Market to improve knowledge on trends and news in a floral sector and they offer interesting products for final recipients.
The Silesia Wholesale Flower Market operates in symbiosis with Tychycity and the whole Silesia region within common promotion and improvement of functioning conditions of wholesale markets in nationwide and world views. It is a member of the Association of Polish Wholesale Markets (SPRH) and since July 2008 it has been a member of the World Union of Wholesale Markets and a purpose of this Unionis to promote wholesale markets all over the world.
